Okay until I heard Molly Ringwald hinting at it recently, I had lost hope for a "Sixteen Candles" sequel. Now I'm hearing she finally agrees on a script!

“I’ve turned it down for years. I couldn’t see how it would work,” she said. “Now, it seems right.”

As much as I adore Sixteen Candles, I'm strangely not as excited as I thought I'd be for a sequel. But since there appears to be one in the works for real, called "32 Candles", I have a couple of provisos:

John Hughes all the way. Otherwise, no.

Michael Schoeffling. Jake, that hottie. What's the point without seeing what happened with he and Sam?



Now that Molly has agreed, Anthony Michael Hall *must* be on board. I just have to see what happened to Farmer Ted! Dorks rule!!



And finally.... LONG. DUK. DONG. No Donger, no movie, bitchessss!
