Oh Dave Stewart, you clever boy. I *almost* fell for it.

After like the first couple of minutes of this special on VH1 (on as I write this) and seeing Mick Jagger pop up (gotta love the man he does deadpan so well LOL!) I smelled a Rutles type thing allllll over this one. At least in this case, the band is real, they just faked out the back story and placed them in the 70s.

Who Is Platinum Weird indeed.

And ROFL @ Paris Hilton ::insert vacuous look on her face:: "Who's Platinum Weird?"
